Mind Over Matter is one of my darker songs. At one of my gigs, it gets requested as, "Play your heroin song". Written around 2005 it was the result of a culmination of life going off the rails - mine and others. It is a dark dangerous place in an urban landscape. I love this version with the crescendo at the end!
